Loosen and remove the nut from the positive terminal as this is where the red wire will connect. Often, a battery will show red or the plus sign to indicate where the positive terminal is. Place the connector of the red wire on the positive terminal and tighten the nut to keep the wires in place.

Now, let’s install the ground wire (the green one). Note that the installation point for it must be no less than four linear feet from the battery negative. In addition, make sure that the green grounding wire is connected to a dedicated bolt.

Do not use any bolt on your vehicle that is grounding other electrical systems, as this can interfere with the proper functioning of your EMP Shield.

The ground wire will connect to the chassis. This wire is installed similarly to the positive wire. Loosen the nut, place the wire in the correct location, and then tighten the nut securely.

Finally, let’s install the negative wire (the black one). It will go on the negative side of the battery. Often, the minus sign is used as its symbol. To install this wire, you need to loosen the nut, place the connector down, and then tighten the nut firmly.

If you have installed everything correctly, you will see the green light on the device, which means that it is actively protecting your vehicle.
