The Alpha Communications® PO400SS Postal Release Boxes are designed specifically to mount at building entrances to allow the letter carrier access to a locked building, to service the USPS mail boxes. These units can be mounted vertically or horizontally and include the mounting hardware for the installation of the postal lock (supplied by the local post office). The PO400SS are designed to be surface mounted only and are made of high-grade, high-carbon St. Steel.
The postal release box(es) shall be Alpha Communications® PO400SS, or approved equal. Units shall be constructed of high-grade, high-carbon St. Steel. The PO400SS shall surface mount onto the finished wall surface. Contractor shall install the unit as per all U.S. Postal Service regulations. Unit(s) shall include postal lock mounting bracket and screws required. Unit shall be mounted (horizontally or vertically). Contractor shall install as per USPS regulations.
